As the holiday season approaches, a special kind of magic is in the air.
This year we had the incredible opportunity to join forces with all the Ford stores under the IAG group for a heartwarming mission: Toy shopping for CTV Toy Mountain initiative.
Toy Mountain is celebrating its 28th year of supporting the Salvation Army in aims to collect toys to be donated to local families in need during the holiday season.
Our adventure began with loading into an F150 and an Escape. After a quick stop at Tim’s for some energy we headed to the Toy warehouse where we were greeted with enormous red bags to fill with toys.
After about 20 minutes and multiple rounds around the warehouse, the holding table we took over quickly grew into a huge pile. The inner child in all of us was screaming with excitement.
Once we finished compiling all our toys, the checkout process began. By the end of the checkout process, we were left with receipts almost as tall as us.
After finishing in the warehouse we proceeded to stuff our vehicle to the BRIM and the delivery journey started.
Going to each dealership and filling the Toy Mountain trucks with every carefully collected toy was a warming experience.
In the spirit of the season, our day toy shopping with the Ford stores under IAG for CTV’s Toy Mountain was a memorable journey of generosity and shared purpose. It serves as a reminder that, during the holiday season, and beyond, small acts of kindness can have a profound impact.
