What is the Bronco Raptor?

The Bronco Raptor is the latest addition to the sought-after Bronco lineup, bringing a few extra tricks up its sleeve. While we’ve had the Everglades trim for a while now, Ford believes we need something even more hardcore. You might already be familiar with the F-150 Raptor, which has been around for over a decade. Ford is determined to extend the Raptor treatment to other models in the lineup. Now, the Bronco receives the special Raptor treatment, joining the new Ranger and offering more choices than ever for your Baja adventures!

The 2023 Bronco Raptor comes equipped with the popular 3.0L Ecoboost V6, churning out 418hp – more than enough to provide loads of fun! Of course, the Raptor boasts an overhauled suspension system, featuring Fox Live Valve suspension that’s seen in some of the highest-performing offroad vehicles available today. Additionally, it rolls on the largest factory tires currently available on a production vehicle – massive 37″ A/T tires!

Some Stand Out Features

Signature Ford Grille

A massive grille featuring the Ford logo in text is a signature design element found on all Raptor models.

Signature Amber DRL

Exclusive to the Bronco Raptor trim are three distinct amber markers positioned across the top of the grille. These markers are in place to comply with safety standards, a necessity given the Bronco Raptor’s exceptionally wide track stance.

Functional Dashboard

The Raptor boasts the most functional dashboard in the lineup, equipped with factory-installed switch gear that lets you effortlessly connect your desired accessories in a clean manner. Additionally, it features a conveniently placed USB port just below the windshield. This allows you to connect a dashcam and keep the cable neatly out of the way, directly connecting it below your desired mounting point.

Removable Fender Accessory

This feature enables you to effortlessly swap out and replace a portion of the fender in the area that’s most prone to taking a beating. Ford acknowledges that the rear wheel’s fender section, due to its exposure to rocks from the massive tires and wide stance, is susceptible to impact. Hence, they’ve designed it for easy replacement, allowing you to address this specific area.

Overhauled Drive

Alongside the incredibly impressive Fox Live Valve suspension that offers a remarkable 13 inches of front and 14 inches of rear wheel travel, you’ll also enjoy a substantial boost in ground clearance. The Raptor trim provides a remarkable 4.5 inches more ground clearance compared to the standard Bronco, giving you a grand total of 13 inches!

G.O.A.T. Modes

The Raptor trim retains all of the G.O.A.T. Modes, but it introduces two exciting new ones! You’ll have access to the special Baja Mode, tailored for higher-speed off-road adventures, as well as the Tow/Haul Mode for added versatility.
