This year, our IAG Ford dealerships — Yorkdale Ford, Weston Ford, and Formula Ford — proudly joined forces with thousands of Ford dealers around the world in the Global Food Drive, a campaign designed to fight food insecurity and support families in need.
What began as a global mission to collect 1 million pounds of food grew into something truly remarkable. Thanks to the dedication of Ford employees, dealers, and communities across the globe, the Global Ford Network surpassed its goal, donating over 2 million pounds of food. This incredible achievement has been officially recognized as the World’s Largest Auto Dealer Food Drive, with 3,050 Ford dealerships across 31 countries contributing to this historic milestone.
Making a Local Impact
Each of our IAG Ford dealerships contributed to this global cause in meaningful ways:
- Yorkdale Ford collected 1,088 pounds of food, and for every pound donated, the dealership matched it to double the impact. Their donations supported the North York Harvest Food Bank, helping families across Toronto.
- Weston Ford contributed 180 pounds of food to the North York Harvest Food Bank, supporting local households in need.
- Formula Ford collected 280 pounds of food, benefiting the Feed The Need Food Bank and families in the Durham Region.
Together, our dealerships helped feed families, strengthen communities, and show what’s possible when local action meets global purpose.
Canada’s Contribution to a Global Goal
Across the country, nearly half of Ford of Canada Dealers took part in this campaign — collectively contributing more than 212,797 pounds of food. Canada ranked third globally among all Ford markets, showcasing the compassion and commitment of our national dealer network.
